Linas Selection Mark Johnston is one of the masters at preparing cup horses and he may well have another contender on his hands with this Selkirk colt.
A winter to fill out should have helped this big horse. If he is aimed at the cup races, he will probably be up against Yeats and is one of the few horses around with the scope to handle him if all has gone well during his time off.
His third to the St.Leger winner at Goodwood was preceded by three wins that followed a strong progression in class. He is likely to continue improving and is taken to grab a group 1 or group 2 this year.
